Screen Addiction &
Balance
Understanding the science of screens and building real strategies for balance in everyday life.
A laugh-out-loud keynote experience that helps kids and parents get on the same page, and allows teachers to get back control of their classrooms
An entertaining, educational keynote experience for schools and families.
So kids stop living inside the scroll, and start showing up for real life again.
It's just a few weeks from now...
Phones stop running the school.
Administrators aren't constantly putting out fires.
Teachers spend their time teaching instead of managing behavior.
Kids learn to handle the scroll without getting wrecked by comparison, drama, or FOMO.
Parents leave with take-home frameworks that make managing screens at home way easier.
Students are more regulated, and connection feels normal again.
Pick the best format for your school. Keynote, workshop, or Q and A.
Entertainment meets education. Music, live games, comedy, stories, and real tools to help manage the problem once and for all.
Parents and teachers leave with a system and a simple framework to keep the momentum going forever.
PROOF THIS WORKS
Every night ended in arguments. Kids hid screens. Parents felt stuck.
Clear family rules. Less yelling. More talking. More time together. One plan everyone followed.
More cyberbullying drama. More comparison. More distracted students.
A shared language around screens. Better choices. Parents more involved. Students more aware of what the scroll is doing to them.
"Finally, something kids actually listened to. It was fun, but it hit deep."
"Loved the take-home guide. It made the follow-up talks at home so much easier."
"This felt like an experience, not a boring talk. People were laughing and learning at the same time."
Our promise is that if your staff or students walk away more confused, or without practical insight they can use immediately, We'll stay and continue working with your group until the problem is managed.
My name is Talmage Erickson,
And I survived high school with a flip phone.
When I was 14 years old, I had an experience that changed everything for me.
My dad, who is a Licensed Counselor and Sexual Addiction Therapist, sat me down and told me that he kept seeing the same patterns across students, families, and adults:
Anxiety. Emotional dysregulation. Impulse control issues. Disconnection. Addiction.
So he gave me a challenge to give up a traditional smart phone, and just use a regular slider phone instead.
That decision changed everything for me.
It was like a blindfold was being ripped off, and I could suddenly see clearly what was happening to other kids my age.
I saw the mind-virus that was controlling my friends, and I started studying what it was doing to them and why my life felt so much more free.
This started a 5-year journey of deep research, and along with my dad, we discovered the recipe to help solve this problem once and for all.
No more nonstop fights about phones
Say goodbye to kids fighting "deadly comparison" and feeling not good enough
No more living in FOMO, drama, and online pressure
Less cyberbullying stress
Less self-image wreckage from social media
No more teachers & administrators playing the role of "screen babysitter"
If a simple 1-hour experience can change the direction,
why gamble with "maybe it gets better on its own"?
